Competition Days Overview
Gymkhanas
Rosewood Hack and Pony Club hosts their gymkhana in August each year. For gymkhanas in Zone 3 and all other QLD zones please see the calendar on PCAQ website.
- You must wear the Official Uniform to attend a gymkhana.
- If you do compete away see the canteen for the Rosewood Hack and Pony Club flag for the March Past.
- New Members must have attended a minimum of two musters, or have Chief Instructors permission.
- Transferring members within same zone cannot compete at gymkhanas for first 30 days.
- Transferring from one zone to another zone has no wait period and you may compete straight away.
- Gymkhana’s — One horse One Rider rule applies.

Open Days
Rosewood Hack and Pony Club hosts four Open Days each year, traditionally in May and October. These two day events involve a Campdraft on the Saturday and an Open Sports Day on the Sunday. For dates on Open Sports Days with other clubs please refer to the PCAQ calendar of events.
- All club members may ride at Open Days,
- Non-pony club members who wish to ride at Open Days need to ensure a Participants Agreement is signed for the day. Muster Uniform is encouraged and PCAQ gear rules apply.
States
State Championship nominees must hold a ‘D’ Certificate if under 13 and a ‘C’ Certificate if over 13.
